Spice Up Your Group Meeting

Our God is a creative God. And our small group meetings should be fresh and creative, too! Here are some fun and ministry-oriented things your small group could consider. (compiled by Brian Saunder and Larry Kreider)
- Spend an entire meeting in prayer.
- Spend and entire meeting in worship.
- Parties for any occasion–good times to invite the unsaved.
- Work parties (painting, roof work, etc.)
- Prayer walks with a designated focus.
- Women’s/men’s night out
- Go Christmas caroling
- Provide meals for the needy
- Watch a video for a change of pace
- Have everyone share or give a teaching.
- Share personal testimonies with pictures
- Take communion
- In January, talk about goal-setting personally and for the group. Ask “What were Jesus’ goals?”
- Have breakfast together Saturday or Sunday morning before church.
- Go on a retreat together for a weekend.
