Sermon Series/Small Group Study Preparing to Launch

By Paul | September 7, 2007

person-studying-bible.jpgWe wanted to give you a head’s up on the upcoming coordinated small group study and sermon series.  The study will be available to pick up in the foyer this Sunday, September 9th before and after services.  We ask that you pick up one copy per person since the study is free of cost.  The study provides three options for your use:

1.  “For Your Small Group”: This option allows a small group member to study the selected Scripture without preparation and provides the key text with questions for small group discussion. “For Your Small Group” section is at the end of each weekly lesson.

2.  Four Days of Preparation: This option provides four days of study with questions that will take 15-30 minutes per day. Within each day of the weekly lesson there is a section of fictional narrative to read, three to four general questions, one to two “Digging into the Word” questions, and one “Going Deeper in Relationship with Jesus” question.  The “Digging into the Word” questions will require more time interacting with the Scripture and the “Going Deeper in Relationship with Jesus” questions are designed for personal application/reflection.

3.  I Want More!: If more study days per week are desired, there is a “What About the Other Three Days of the Week” section in each weekly lesson.  Additionally, an “Option for Further Study” is provided for individuals or small groups to consider after this four week study is completed.

The schedule is as follows:
