A God-Highlight Film (part 1)

What is a highlight of your care group year?
1. Our assistant leaders, the Maples, went on a cruise with Scott’s parents, for whom the care group had been praying for a long time. Scott’s father (who has been an agnostic for some time) mentioned that he wanted to talk about their faith. While on the cruise, he brought it up and wanted to know when they could discuss it. He ended up accepting the Lord on the cruise. His next question was about baptism and he seems to want to do things as they come up, so they baptized him in the hot tub on the cruise ship. That opened up the opportunity to talk about their faith with some Mormon’s who were in (or near) the hot tub at the time.
2. Regarding building group community, the Care Group spent 4 days down in Seaside during Spring Break. It was a great time to just get away and bond. The 6 kids had a great time together and the 6 adults also had a great time. One of the teens in the group (Shawna Maple) put together a video presentation that will be an awesome memory, too!
