The “E” Word

By Paul | May 9, 2007

two-having-coffee.jpgUnless it’s our spiritual gift, most of us need to up our evangelism quotient in life. The “E” word sometimes sends chills down Christians’ spines or makes them feel unworthy. Here are some questions that might get your group with the reality of how purposeful they have been in sharing their faith.

  1. Who brought someone to church or small group in the last year?
  2. Who led someone to Christ in the last year and what was their name?
  3. Looking around the group, whom do you believe is gifted in evangelism? Why?
  4. Do you have an adequate number of relationships with non-Christians?
  5. Who in the group is more naturally gifted at follow-up with new believers?
  6. What outreach-oriented activities have you done this year? Which ones were successful and why were they successful?
  7. Sketch out your plan for evangelism for the next year.

Remember: Bethel’s thematic goal this year continues to be INVITE!
