Redemptively Disruptive?

By Paul | March 30, 2007

questioning-woman.jpgBig words!  Here are some gut-level deep questions you can use with your small group, or in one-on-ones with people, that God can use to “disrupt” (shed light on an issue that needs some reflection and change) so that He can redeem that unsubmitted area to Him.

1.  What practices, exercises, conversations, etc do you need in order to daily live in the reality of God’s kingdom?

2. What would your life look like, if, in one area, you experienced authentic transformation? Be specific.

3. How is your identity, your sense of who you are, tied to an unformed aspect of your heart (lust, anger, worry, fear, lying, control, etc.)?

4.  In what ways are you held prisoner by painful experiences which have occurred in your past?

5. If your spouse (or another loved one) were given free reign to elaborate on her/his thoughts about your spiritual formation, what would she/he say?
