It’s Halftime! Your Locker Room Pep Talk

It’s great if you can lead a discussion with your small group about what you’d like to accomplish together for God for the 2nd half of the small group year, along the discipleship road. Keith Wright has some possibilities if you assess a group need in one of these categories:
- Scripture memory. Set up a system to hold one another accountable for memorizing portions of the Bible.
- Prayer. Are there people your group would like to pray for, but haven’t (unreached people group, your neighborhood, your pastors)?
- Vulnerability. Do you need to adopt new practices to increase transparency, such as stricter confidentiality or more sharing time?
- Service. Set a goal for the number of service projects you want to do as a group, brainstorm possibilities and get cracking!
- Bible. Does your group desire greater clarity about doctrinal issues or certain passages of Scripture?
- Worship. How might you introduce new worship dynamics into regular group meetings?
- Fun. Plan to meet at a restaurant for breakfast on a Saturday morning, a river rafting or camping trip, or….
